Here you’ll find articles that I’ve written for a couple small publications as well as published pieces in my medium and substack page.
I also want to share the following about my relationship to writing:
Neither of my parents completed middle school. We migrated to the U.S. when I was almost six so I picked up the language, English, during primal language development years. English is my second language, maybe even my third if I count the Zapoteco (Dizza) that was spoken around me in our pueblo before migrating. My parents were working-class people; they didn’t read to or with me. I kept a journal when I was younger, but in highly communal cultures privacy is almost non-existent. My journal was invaded and that also stunted my curiosity to explore more of my writing. So enjoy these pieces.
